We are excited to share that Rose Criswell has accepted the role of Member
Services Coordinator for the American Berkshire Association, effective July 20, 2020.
Rose will be responsible for the following:
– Answering membership questions
– Managing ABA national shows and sales
– Writing show summaries for Breeders Digest
– Assisting breeders with Breeders Digest ads
– Supporting Team Purebred
– Collecting DNA samples for sire banking and DNA testing
– Litter registrations and pedigree transfers
Rose received her associate’s degree in Applied Science in Agriculture from Ivy Tech Community College. She comes to the ABA with 8 years of experience from Purdue Extension- Pulaski County. In her role, Rose was the 4-H Program Assistant and 4-H Secretary for Pulaski County
where she assisted in coordinating 4-H programs and youth events.
Rose will be based out of the ABA office in West Lafayette, IN.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Evan and daughter Tessa. The Criswells enjoy spending a large amount of time in the show barn, from farrow to finish. In the Summer, when their not in the barn, they enjoy their time together checking their crops , enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
