2. What is your role at the ABA?

Director of Berkshire Operations

 

3. How long have you been with the ABA?

In the chaos of 2020, I thought it would be a great idea to switch jobs that July. And here we are, quickly approaching 3 years with the ABA.

 

4. Favorite snack?

This can usually change by season, but if you haven’t tried the Nerd clusters, run and get some! I think Erin and I might have binged on 4 bags at WTC.

 

5. What is your favorite show to attend?

Hands down, The Exposition! There is no better way to kick off the summer. However, after attending my first SWTC recently, I loved how laid back the show was, and the amount of queso I indulged in.

 

6. What is your guilty pleasure?

I feel like I sneak around McDonalds Coke at all possibilities, like it’s a crime. What do they put in them to make them so addictive!

 

7. Favorite swine breed?

I feel obligated to say Berkshires, but Chesters Whites are my true passion.

 

8. Favorite sports team?

Purdue, but only when they decide to show up.

 

9. Favorite thing about your job?

Traveling is a great part of the job as I get to finally meet the members and experience new things. However, an important part of my job involves a lot of data entry and I truly enjoy that. I think I could enter litters all day long. The fact that you’re taking a small amount of information to generate these pedigrees it an unbelievable thing.

 

10. Least favorite thing about your job?

West Lafayette traffic, IYKYK..

 

11. What helps you recharge?

If my family would let me sleep in just a little on Saturday and Sunday, that would be just great.

 

12. What is one thing you want to do, but haven’t?

I would love to go to anywhere exotic or tropical that has a great beach. Unfortunately, my husband won’t travel so I’ll have to find a travel buddy…. Whitney H, you good?

 

13. What are you good at?

Taking something average, and adding flare to it

 

14. Do you have any fears?

After living in Arizona, I learned that I am extremely afraid of lizards

 

15. When do you work your best?

As David Bowie and Queen once said “Under Pressure”

 

16. What store gets all your money?

If there are any clothing boutiques in close proximity …...just take my card

 

17. If calories did not count, what would you consume?

PUT QUESO IN MY FACE-O!

 

18. What are your hobbies/ interests?

Recently I’ve been interested in HOTWORX. If you’re looking for a way to destress, this is it! All your worries are gone when you’re riding a bike in a 100+ degree sauna!

 

19. Do you have any siblings or pets, children, or spouse?

I some how convinced my high school sweetheart, Evan, to marry me back in 2013, together we have a daughter, Tessa, and Snuggles the Goldendoodle. I try to keep these bunch held together, but most days we just roll with it.
